Summer vacation is over. Sad face. So you want to know what's been going on in the world/USA/local in 1000 words or less. Okay, go...
World: Iran is a hot mess (clearly, I am somewhat obsessed). Ahmadinejad is president, shocker. Then he chose someone as his VP that the real leaders of Iran didn't like and so there is some chick-fight worthy drama there. Israel is up in arms (pun intended) about Iran's possessions of nuclear arms or the ingredients to make nuclear arms. Fair enough, they can be worried, since they are the kid that everyone picks on over there.
USA: I might poke my eye out if I have to listen to anymore jank about health care reform. The teenybopper crush on Obama is diminishing. I could have told you forever ago that Obama was going to be a rebound fling. Nothing worthy of keeping around, but at the time you think you want it and now we are stuck because we can't break up with this fling for another 3.5 years. Awesome.
Local: Well... truth, I don't keep up with local news. I do keep up with local college football. Pardon me, I keep up with HOKIE football. This weekend, we take on Miami. Nuff said. I'll let you know how it goes down.
I am not sure if this was 1000 words or less, but it works for me, so I hope it works for you too.
Till next time.
